Israeli-Palestinian Conflict for ENGL 162 - Abraham

This libguide was created to assist students in meeting the assignment requirement of finding a minimum of 5 outside sources (excluding websites, blogs, etc.) so as to craft a speech to the opposite delegation. The speech will focus on the issues of border disputes related to the entire country of Israel and the city of Jerusalem. Rogerian argument is to be used to present the case and suggest solutions.

The tabs ON THE LEFT represent the prescribed order of research. You are advised to follow the order.

1. Find Background Information: Links to articles which will give you an overview of the topic; additional databases to search.
2. Identify Keywords: Short video explaining keyword searching; suggestions for useful keywords to use for your topic in various databases..
3. Find Articles: Here is where the best databases are for finding more articles. Especially valuable are OneSearch and Opposing Viewpoints.
4. Find (More) Books: Go here to search for more eBooks, books in the Bass Library and in OhioLink, if you still need more sources.
5. MLA Style: Find a template for your MLA style paper here (under Formatting your Paper tab).
6. CiteFast: Go here to see a short video on how to use CiteFast, a citation tool which will save you time and help you create your paper's Works Cited page
7. Off-Campus Access:  Make sure your Library ID is up to date so you can search from home. Details at this tab and in box below.
