Textbooks and Course Reserves

• For information about which books will be used as your textbook, check the LCCC Bookstore website. You need to know the TITLE, AUTHOR and EDITION or ISBN for your course textbook. 
• Required textbooks for courses are not generally purchased by the Library, as textbook costs and student demand would not be tenable for the Library's book budget. However, some textbooks are acquired automatically through larger database subscriptions or consortial collections. Please check OneSearch or the Library Catalog for specific titles. (see below)

Course Reserves in the Library

Faculty may ask that their personal copies of materials or books owned by the Library be placed on Reserve. Please contact the Library to place items on Reserve, or fill out the online form on the Library Course Reserves page of the Copyright Guide.

Students may search for Reserve materials using the link below.

• Reserve materials are usually used in the Library only.
• Copies of SOME (not all) textbooks are on reserve at the Library's Circulation Desk.
• Course reserve materials are accessible during library hours.
