Another aspect of this assignment may be to tie a sports article to what was happening "at the time" in the world in general. The front page of the newspaper the sports article comes from may give important clues about what other world events were occurring. • In American Decades, first pick a decade.
• The Table of Contents will appear without having to expand it.
• Pick a chapter or choose a topic (ex. gov't and politics).
• A chapter table of contents then appears that shows events, but not years or specific dates. At the top there is a section titled Chronology which divides the decade into years.
